''WHO'' discovered cell.

Cell is known as basic unit of organization of living organisms. In 1665 Robert Hooke examined a thin slice of cork under his own made light microscope. He observed tiny compartments like a honey comb and named them as cellulae. This term came to us as cell. The observation made by Hooke opened many new folds in the field of science.
